Artist Statement

In my photos I was trying to capture each of the seven deadly sins. By changing her eye color in each picture, it draws your attention in to where I want it. I wanted to capture the look in her eyes that, alone, tells you what sin she is portraying. Although similar, the setting changes from photograph to photograph. This, along with her being the only one in the photo, keeps up a theme. I found that sticking to a theme helps the pictures flow. It looks like they belong together.

The seven deadly sins were fun to capture. I enjoyed photo shopping the color in, as well as writing about them. Each one has such distinct characteristics, that they weren't very hard to capture.
